People often ask us where our name comes from?  twist.  It is safe to say that it is our mission to always be looking ahead, bringing new and different services, offerings, events to our guests; we like to “twist” it up, so to speak.  In that fashion, we are proud to announce a new series of wine events here at twist.  On the second Thursday of each month, that’s this Thursday, we are partnering with a different winery to offer, “Nibble and Sip.”  Nibble and Sip is an opportunity to showcase different local wineries (we do have so many local favorites) in a fun, unique setting at twist.  What we do is offer four to five different wine selections paired with some of the most delicious dishes around.  Let me tell you, we had a “tasting” and WOW is really any foodie worth his/her weight could utter.  The wine paired with dishes created by our own Piazza Bistro such as Roasted Butternut Squash Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter Sauce, Prosciutto Wrapped Figs and Blue Cheese, Herb Roasted Pork Loin with Cranberry Chutney and Drizzled Chocolate Hazelnut Crepe is enough to make your mouth water, right?  I mean these dishes are just perfectly paired with some of the best wine in the area.  What could be better really then wine and food in a relaxed, fun atmosphere?  That’s what we thought.  So, get a few of your friends together and join us.
